Nutrition
Keep recipes, planned meals, groceries, and your actual food log connected without confusing them.
Choose the right record
| Record | What it means |
|---|---|
| Recipe | Reusable ingredients, preparation steps, and nutrition per serving. |
| Planned meal | A recipe and number of servings you intend to have on a date. |
| Food entry | What you actually ate, with a date, meal slot, and servings eaten. |
| Grocery list | Ingredients calculated from the selected week’s planned portions. |
Planning food does not record it as eaten. A grocery check does not log a meal. Your food totals come from food entries, not from everything in your planner.
A simple daily workflow
- Save a recipe with nutrition per serving.
- Add it to your meal plan for the date and servings you intend.
- Review that week’s groceries and check your pantry.
- When you eat, log the meal or add food directly. Adjust the actual servings if they differ.
You can skip meal planning and log food directly. You can also plan meals before setting targets.
Use targets as chosen reference values
Daily targets are optional and entered by you in Settings. Corner supports different training-day and recovery-day values. Unset targets are not zero targets or automatic recommendations. See profile, targets, and progress.
Nutrition values depend on what you enter. Check package information, quantities, and serving definitions before relying on a total. The synthetic examples in this guide are arithmetic examples, not dietary advice.
