Record what you ate
Log food directly or from a meal plan, keeping actual servings separate from your intentions.
Add food directly
- Open Today / Home and select the date you want to record.
- Choose Add food.
- Enter what you ate, the date, meal slot, and Servings eaten.
- Enter nutrition per serving: calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat.
- Choose Save food entry and wait for the save to finish.
You do not need a saved recipe or a planned meal. For a one-off food, choose a serving definition you understand and enter both the nutrition per serving and the number eaten.
Keep per-serving values and totals distinct
Synthetic example: an example snack has 150 calories per serving. If you ate two servings, enter 150 as the per-serving calories and 2 as the servings eaten. The logged total is 300 calories. Entering 300 and 2 would count 600.
Check the selected date and meal slot before saving, especially when recording yesterday’s food.
Log a planned meal
Use the planned meal’s logging action when you want the food entry linked to that plan. Confirm the actual servings rather than assuming the planned amount was eaten. Corner allows one linked food entry for each planned meal.
Your food entry retains a historical name and nutrition snapshot. Later recipe edits do not silently recalculate what you recorded eating.
Correct a record
Open the food entry’s edit action to correct its date, servings, or nutrition. Delete a mistaken entry with its delete action. Deleting a food entry does not delete its recipe or meal plan.
If a save fails, keep the form open, read the error, and retry once the problem is resolved. The form retains entered values on a failed save; do not assume the record was stored merely because you pressed the button.
